Microwave  Leakage Testing

To complement our PAT testing, we also carry out a microwave leakage safety test service, which can be carried out at the same time as your PAT testing.

A lot of workplaces use microwave ovens as a quick, convenient & safe way to cook or reheat food.  However, faults can occur & unless periodically tested, they could become a health & safety hazard, without you even knowing it!

If the microwave door seals are not maintained, it can lead to leakage levels which are not within the recommended limit.  To test the oven, we use equipment which detects the level of radiation, to ensure that it is within the legal limit.

BS EN 60335-2-25 2002 Requirements for Microwave Ovens
